Geniusmods Warranty

At Geniusmods, we pride ourselves on our committment to customer satisfaction. We want our customers to be able to make a purchase with a peace of mind knowing that we stand by our products. We offer a one year warranty on all controllers we sell.

The warranty covers any damage to the mod, or internals of the controller. The warranty does not cover accidental damage (such as dropping the controller, or liquid damage). In order to be eligible for the warranty, the controller must not show any signs of abuse or accidental damage (cracks, ect). But if you do get frustrated in a game and decide to throw your controller at a wall, we are still willing to assist our customers and replace the controller at our cost (parts and labor). Normal wear and tear (such as worn down rubber on the thumbsticks, or scratches) are not covered under the warranty. However, if you wish to refresh your controllers physical appearance we can do so, and if you are still under warranty you will only need to pay our cost (parts and labor). 

If your controller is not working properly, first view our troubleshooting guide. If you cannot resolve your issue with our troubleshooting guide, please contact us and we will have a technician walk you through a few troubleshooting steps to figure out if the issue can be resolved over the phone. If the technician cannot assist, they will prompt you to send the controller back to us for a warranty repair/replacement. 

If you need to send back a controller, please contact us for further instructions including an RMA form. Once authorized, you can send the controller back to us for either a replacement or refund.

Extended Warranty:

All controllers we sell include a one year warranty, but we do offer an extended two year warranty at the time of purchase. If at the time of purchase, you do not opt to select the two year warranty, you can purchase it within 30 days of buying the controller by calling or emailing us. The warranty becomes effective upon date of delivery of the controller.
